Hi, I’m Matt!

I’ve worked in sports media in Oregon for most of my adult life, first as a radio announcer and Program Director in Klamath Falls & Medford, and more recently as a podcaster and sportswriter for several outlets.

Among my career highlights, I am proud of the relationships I’ve built with women’s basketball players and coaches from our great state.

I am openly queer, and disabled – I was born severely premature – my biggest inspiration for launching this site is the solidarity I’ve found with women’s sports fans here in Portland. I am a passionate Thorns season ticket holder and member of the 107 Independent Supporters Trust.
